The Light Room
God’s kingdom we have become a part of by redemption/new birth is a kingdom of wealth, riches and awesome splendor. But...
Jacob vs Israel - The result of transformations and encounters.
Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Here is an Israelite indeed [a true descendant of Jacob], in whom there is no guile nor deceit nor duplicity!” - John 1:47
Jacob was a supplanter- A supplanter must necessarily need to deceive people.
He deceived his father - Isaac, deceived his brother - Esau.
Then he reaped what he's sown in Laban who was a higher deceiver.
But at John 1:47, Jesus described an Israelite indeed (a true descendant of Jacob) as one in whom there is no guile nor deceit nor duplicity.
This shows what a man who is truly transformed can become.
The lesson here is that for a man that is truly transformed, the difference must be like that of night and day.
So until this happens, you must keep on your journey of transformation by;
Shalom!
