Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, Here is an Israelite indeed [a true descendant of Jacob], in whom there is no guile nor deceit nor duplicity!” - John 1:47

Jacob was a supplanter- A supplanter must necessarily need to deceive people.

He deceived his father - Isaac, deceived his brother - Esau.

Then he reaped what he's sown in Laban who was a higher deceiver.

But at John 1:47, Jesus described an Israelite indeed (a true descendant of Jacob) as one in whom there is no guile nor deceit nor duplicity.

This shows what a man who is truly transformed can become.

The lesson here is that for a man that is truly transformed, the difference must be like that of night and day.

So until this happens, you must keep on your journey of transformation by;

  1. Laying aside continuously every sin and the weight that easily trips you - Hebrews 12:1
  2. Continuously looking into the mirror of life(the Word of God), so you can be changed continuously into the same image, from glory to glory even by the Spirit of the Lord. - 2 Corinthians 3:18
